“There is no wood in the world like Indian teak,” Woodesign Creator’s Ashok Jindal
Mohali, August 21, 2025: ‘Woodesign Creators’, an expansive designer furniture showroom, has been unveiled in Mohali on the Lakhnaur Pind Road, Industrial Area, Sector 75. The showroom offers everything from heritage handcrafted furniture to modern office and residential designs. At the ‘Woodesign Creators’ furniture showroom in Mohali a huge space has been dedicated to an impressive and well-curated furniture display.
The venture is part of a new vertical of the well-known Vinod Furniture of Nabha, Punjab, also popularly called Vinod Furniture ‘Nabha Wale’. The Jindal family that runs the furniture showroom in Nabha, has 50 years of experience in the business. This family of ‘furniture industry entrepreneurs’ has now brought its knowhow in furniture design, manufacturing and sales to tricity, by establishing ‘Woodesign Creators’ in Mohali.
Ashok Jindal, Chairman & Managing Director(CMD) of ‘Woodesign Creators’ along with his sons – Sahil and Dikshant Jindal both Directors at ‘Woodesign Creators’, and his daugher-in-law – Sahil’s wife Helly Jindal, shared details about the venture at a press conference held on the occasion of the opening of ‘Woodesign Creators’.
Ashok Jindal, said, “Furniture is often a once-in-a-lifetime investment for families, and our goal is to create pieces that combine durability, artistry, and timeless appeal. Teak wood remains our hallmark, supported by the craftsmanship of highly skilled artisans.”
Ashok Jindal further said, “There is no wood in the world like Indian teak, and no artistry like that of our skilled craftsmen. These advantages make our products competitive for exports, and we are already in discussions to expand into markets such as the US, Canada, Dubai, and Australia.”
Ashok Jindal, added, “We started small, but with consistent hard work and focus on quality, we are now ready to serve customers not just across Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and the Chandigarh Capital Region, but also to take our vision international.”
Director Dikshant Jindal, who has pursued professional training in furniture and interior designing, will lead operations at the Mohali showroom, equipped with his experience and expertise in designing of furniture as also interior designing. The other family members who are part of the business include Ashok Jindal’s wife Anupam Jindal and his other son – Sahil Jindal too. Sahil’s wife Helly Jindal is also actively participating in the day to day running of the business. This makes the enterprise a truly family-driven one.
