Chandigarh, The Citizens Awareness Group organised a musical evening at the Chandigarh Press Club on Tuesday to celebrate the birthdays of members and well-wishers whose birthdays fell in October. The gathering brought together social workers, public figures and community members for an evening of music, fellowship and celebration.
Social workers Sanjay Tandon and Ranjeeta Mehta, motivational speaker Vivek Atray and former councillor from Sector 27 Devinder Babla attended the event as special guests. The celebration provided an opportunity for the October-born members to mark their special occasions collectively in a warm and cheerful atmosphere.

The evening featured musical performances and informal interactions, with attendees sharing greetings, memories and good wishes. The initiative highlighted the importance of community bonding and celebrating special moments together.
Speaking on the occasion, Surinder Verma, president of the Citizens Awareness Group, said, “The idea behind organising this celebration was to bring together all those whose birthdays fall in October and make them feel special. Such gatherings strengthen our bonds, spread happiness and remind us of the importance of togetherness. We believe that celebrating these occasions collectively makes the moments more memorable.”

The chief guests interacted with participants and appreciated the group’s initiative to bring people together through a shared celebration. Their presence added to the warmth of the occasion. The stage was conducted by Shelly Taneja.
