Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh, organized a special lecture on *“Swasth Jeevan Shaili Evam Swasthya Ki Chunautiyan” (Healthy Lifestyle and Health Challenges)* at the Senate Hall on Monday in collaboration with Arogya Bharati. The lecture aimed to create awareness about preventive healthcare, holistic well-being, and healthy living.
*The event was graced by Shri Sanjeevan Kumar Ji, National Executive Member, Arogya Bharati, as the Chief Guest. Dr. Santosh Kumar, Department of Urology, PGIMER, Chandigarh, and Prof. Shivani Sharma, Department of Philosophy, Panjab University, Chandigarh, attended as Guests of Honour.*
The programme commenced with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by the Dhanwantri Shatwan Mantra. *The dignitaries were welcomed and felicitated by Dr. Rajesh Kumar Bhatia, Director, PEC, who also delivered the vote of thanks. During the lecture, the speakers emphasized the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle through preventive healthcare, yoga, balanced nutrition, and mental well-being to address contemporary health challenges.*
