-Today, His Excellency, the Governor of Punjab Mr. Gulab Chand Kataria and Chief Minister of Punjab Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann held a goodwill meeting for Punjab. For which, the Chairman of Hindu Welfare Board, Mahant Shri Ravi Kant Muni Ji was specially invited for the meeting. Representatives of the Hindu Welfare Board Mr. L.M. Gulati Advocate, Mahamandaleshwar Shri Brahmanand Giri, Chetan Dev etc. participated in this meeting under the leadership of Mahant Shri Ravi Kant Muni Ji. In the meeting, Mahant Shri Ravi Kant Muni Ji, while addressing the Chief Minister of Punjab, suggested including and training volunteers in civil defense at every district, sub-division and block level of Punjab, on which the Governor and other members agreed. In the meeting, Mahant Shri Ravi Kant Muni Ji while addressing the Governor said that Punjab is a brave state. Punjab has protected the borders of India by becoming a shield for centuries. He said that the victorious chariot of Alexander, who was moving ahead by killing people in the world, was also stopped by the great son of Punjab, King Porus, and he protected the whole of India. He said that if any invader advanced from Punjab, he moved ahead by walking on the dead bodies of Punjabis, but Punjab never surrendered. He said that from time to time many religions, beliefs, sects, communities were born or established on the land of Punjab. He said that despite the differences between various religions, sects and cults, one thing is common among all of us that the blood of all Punjabis is the same.

Addressing the government and the religious leaders present, Mahant Shri Ravi Kant Muni Ji said that many posts spreading communal hatred are being put on social media, on which the government should take action against these people and it is also the duty of the leaders of all religions that all the religious leaders should explain to the people of their respective religions so that the posts spreading hatred can be stopped from going viral on social media. On this occasion, religious leaders from other religions like Sikh, Muslim, Christian, Jain etc. also expressed their views. At the end of the meeting, the Governor and Chief Minister of Punjab thanked the religious leaders present and a memorable photo was also taken on the occasion.
