-Highly awaited Punjabi film Shaunki Sardar released its official trailer at a grand Press Conference in Mohali today. The movie is being bankrolled by Zee Studios, Boss Musica Records Pvt Ltd in collaboration with 751 Films, and will open in theatres across the globe on May 16, 2025.
The star studded cast of the film, legendary Babbu Maan, global music icon Guru Randhawa, Sunita Dhir, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Hashneen Chauhan, Dheeraj Kumar; were joined by actor Harsimran, Elly Mangat and others to boost the wonderful lead pair. The director of the film Dheeraj Kedarnath Rattan, the producers Ishaan Kapoor, Shah Jandiali and Dharminder Batouli, Harjot Singh were also there to express their vision and excitement of the project.
The trailer, which was launched at the conference, offered a peek into the emotional and action-packed narrative of Shaunki Sardar. Packed with high-voltage drama, heartbreak and action, the film is rooted in the eternal theme of family love, legacy and loyalty.
Key highlights The film has an on-screen chemistry between Babbu Maan and Hashneen Chauhan and on the other hand the fresh pairing of Guru Randhawa and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia is another visual delight for the audience. With a strong starcast and alluring music/ narrative, Shaunki Sardar seems to be a complete family entertainer.
