Gurugram, November 8: Prominent neurologists, neurosurgeons, and healthcare experts from Haryana and surrounding areas discussing various neurological issues and best practices at the two-day “Marengo Asia Haryana Neuro Conclave 2025”, which commenced today in Gurugram. The event has been organised by Marengo Asia Hospitals, Gurugram.

On the first day of the conclave, participants engaged in discussions and case-based presentations on significant topics in neurology, such as epilepsy, stroke, and autoimmune illnesses. The sessions particularly focused on epilepsy in women and children. The conclave also discussed drug-resistant epilepsy and the increasing role of neuromodulation in its treatment. Experts also shared emerging trends in patient management, surgical interventions, and the influence of technology in enhancing outcomes for individuals with complex neurological disorders.

In his opening remarks, Dr Praveen Gupta, Chairman of Marengo Asia International Institute of Neuro & Spine (MAIINS), Marengo Asia Hospitals, Gurugram, said, “The goal of this conclave is to connect academic knowledge with practical medical application, forming a platform for collaboration among specialists from various districts.” Dr Gupta said that “considering the rising number of cases we see of people suffering from neurological conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, and autoimmune brain disorders, it is very important to ensure that treatment and early diagnosis are easily accessible even in Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns.”
