Chandigarh, Aug 24, 2026: The picturesque Forest Hill Golf & Country Club, located on the outskirts of Chandigarh, played host to the 3rd edition of the Tee Box Legends Junior Tour, bringing together 60 young golfers who showcased their talent and competitive spirit on the course.
The tournament was held with the support of GB Legends, the sports promotion vertical of realty organisation GB Realty, and Chasma Shah Sports.
The tournament featured competitions for boys and girls across the age categories of A+ (18-21 years), A (15-17 years), B (13-14 years), C (11-12 years), D (9-10 years), E (7-8 years) and F (6 years & below). While golfers in Categories A, B, C and D competed over 18 holes, those in Categories E and F played 9 holes.
The tournament concluded with a prize distribution ceremony attended by Lt Col B.S. Sandhu (Retd.), Chairman & MD, WWICS Group and Forest Hill Resort(FHR); B.S. Gill, President, Forest Hill Golf & Country Club; Amit Sood, CEO, GB Legends; Darvesh Kumar, Founder, Chasma Shah Sports and Tee Box Golf School, and Lt Gen S S Mehta(Retd.), Former GOC-in-C of Western Command – who is also a Trustee on the Board of The Tribune.
Best Gross Honours
Boys – Combined Categories A, B, C & D: Jamraudh Singh Sidhu emerged as the Best Gross winner.
Girls – Combined Categories A, B, C & D: Rajeeta claimed the Best Gross honour.
Boys – Combined Categories E & F: Saveer Pruthi secured the Best Gross title.
Girls – Combined Categories E & F: Akisha Gulati was declared the Best Gross winner.
Boys Category Wise Results:
Category A+: Saurav Das emerged as the winner in the A+ category.
Category A: Ayush Yadav clinched the winner’s title, followed by Samriddh Chand Thakur as the 1st runner-up and Hriday Rialch as the 2nd runner-up.
Category B: Gurmehar Singh Bhamra was declared the winner, while Aryaveer Singh Grewal finished as the 1st runner-up and Fatehvir Singh as the 2nd runner-up.
Category C: Roopwant Singh emerged victorious, with Jaskirat Singh securing the 1st runner-up position and Ikmaan Singh Tiwana finishing as the 2nd runner-up.
Category D: Jamraudh Singh Sidhu won the category, followed by Angat Singh as the 1st runner-up and Aadeer Singh Bajwa as the 2nd runner-up.
Category E: Snitik Chand Thakur emerged as the winner, with Viren Pratap Singh finishing as the 1st runner-up and Zoraan Veer Singh Sandhu taking the 2nd runner-up position.
Category F: Saveer Pruthi clinched the winner’s title, while Waryam Singh Aujla was the 1st runner-up and Angad Veer Singh finished as the 2nd runner-up.
Girls Category-Wise Results
Category A: Rajeeta emerged as the winner, while Ganika Goyal secured the 1st runner-up position.
Category B: Ojaswani Mahajan emerged as the winner in the B category.
Category C: Samyra Randhawa clinched the winner’s title , Anahat Kaur Khokhar was the 1st runner-up and Keerat Khanna the 2nd runner-up.
Category F: Akisha Gulati emerged as the winner.
The tournament provided the young golfers with an opportunity to compete in a professional tournament environment, test their skills and gain valuable competitive experience.
