Chandigarh : The Chandigarh Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Association, affiliated with the Indian Body Builders Federation (Mumbai), proudly honored Rahul Singh Chauhan. Representing Chandigarh, Rahul created history by winning the overall title at the 16th South Asian Bodybuilding Championship, held in Bhutan from June 30 to July 4, 2026.
Rahul Singh Chauhan first clinched the gold medal in the 85 kg bodybuilding category and then made the country proud by winning the overall championship title. With this spectacular victory, he has become the first athlete from Chandigarh to win the prestigious Overall South Asian Bodybuilding Championship. He will now represent India in the Asian and World Bodybuilding Championships to be held later this year.

To celebrate this phenomenal achievement, the Chandigarh Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Association organized a grand felicitation ceremony. The event was led by:

On this occasion, the association’s office-bearers congratulated Rahul Singh Chauhan on his brilliant success and extended their best wishes for the upcoming Asian and World Bodybuilding Championships. They expressed confidence that he would continue to bring laurels to Chandigarh and India on the international stage. The association also reaffirmed its commitment to promoting bodybuilding and supporting Chandigarh’s talented athletes in excelling at national and international levels
