-Chandigarh: National President of Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD), Jayant Chaudhary, who is also the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Minister of State for Education, arrived in Chandigarh today for official programs. On his arrival at Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, thousands of party workers gave him a grand welcome.
On this occasion, Jayant Chaudhary instructed the workers to work at the grassroots level in Punjab and Haryana, and urged them to spread Chaudhary Charan Singh’s policies and the party’s programs to every household. He said that RLD must establish strong units in every district and block and dedicate themselves to solving the problems of farmers, villagers, youth, and poor laborers.
Party’s National General Secretary (Organization), Trilok Tyagi, said that Jayant Chaudhary has been tirelessly engaged through the Skill Ministry in providing employment and training to rural youth.
On this occasion, Manjeet Singh Mohali, President of the Punjab unit of the party, said that preparations are underway to form the state executive committee and district presidents have already been finalized. The list will soon be released after discussions with national leaders.
During the program, Jagtar Singh Bhullar, General Secretary (Kisan Cell), senior Haryana unit leader Narendra Sitara, RLD Mohali unit President Simranpreet Singh, Youth President Simranjit Singh Shanky, along with Ashok Sharma, Anil Garg, Mahant Bhanu Swami, Ashok Kumar Sharma, Jagtar Singh, Dilpreet Singh, Jasvir Singh, Principal Harbhajan Singh, Gurpreet Kaur Shekhawat and hundreds of other workers were present.
Jayant Chaudhary said that he is solely dedicated to working for the nation’s progress. He added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given him a great responsibility in the field of skill development, and therefore, he is committed to doing significant work for the development of the country’s youth.
He further said that efforts are being made to link skill development with entrepreneurship so that the sons and daughters of farmers who wish to pursue careers beyond agriculture can get opportunities. Chaudhary emphasized that he is committed to empowering future generations.
Jayant Chaudhary stated that he supports implementing such programs and schemes that connect the underprivileged with the mainstream of development, ensuring sustained growth and progress across all regions of the country. He reiterated his commitment to public welfare.
Highlighting the success of the Skill India Mission, Chaudhary said that it has transformed Indian youth into a force for change both within the country and abroad. He added that Indian workers are known worldwide for their hard work and discipline. The Prime Minister recognized this hidden potential and gave it national direction through the Skill India Mission, which today has become a powerful identity of New India.
