The world-renowned actress, Isha Koppikar, is back on screen. After having played diverse characters in her career she is mainly known for the daring cop roles that have multiplied in course of time. That’s why she has been affectionately nicknamed Copikar. We’ve seen her dress up as a police officer many times and now we can look forward to another appearance as one when Dhahanam releases on MX Player this April 14th!

Isha Koppikar, who plays the role of Anjana Sinha in Dhahanam, remarked that “It is a proud feeling to be able to don the uniform on screen. It comes with a great sense of responsibility and belief. The officers in uniform work tirelessly every day and face many challenges so we can all be safe and at ease.” She also said she admires their hard work as well as being grateful for them portraying such roles on-screen. At this point she expressed her excitement about playing this role which “really brought out the best” in her not only an actor but also woman while working under Ram Gopal Varma’s project.
Dhahanam is a crime thriller that tells the story of a father avenging his son’s death. The show takes place against the backdrop of violence, bloodshed and oppression. It stars Isha Koppikar, Naina Ganguly, Abhishek Duhan, Ashwatkanth Sharma Parvathy Arun and Pradeep Rawat in pivotal roles. Originally made in Telugu- it is also dubbed into Hindi and Tamil (with some changes).
