- In Class XI, there are no new topics added; however, “States of Matter: Gases & Liquids,” “Hydrogen,” “The S-Block Elements,” and “Environmental Chemistry” have been removed.
Botany:
- Class XII introduces a new chapter – “Biodiversity and Conservation (Sacred Groves)” – while chapters like “Reproduction in Organisms,” “Strategies for Enhancement in Food Production,” and “Environmental Issues” have been excluded.
- In Class XI, new inclusion is the chapter on “Morphology of Flowering Plants” (Malvaceae, Cruciferae, Leguminosae, Compositae, Gramineae), whereas the topics on “Transport in Plants” and “Mineral Nutrition” have been removed.
Zoology:
- In Class XII, no new topics are added; however, deletions include “Reproduction in Organisms” and “Strategies for Enhancement in Food Production – Animal Husbandry.”
- In Class XI, a new inclusion is the chapter on “Structural Organisation in Animals – Animal Morphology (Frog),” while the topic on “Digestion and Absorption” has been removed.
