BJP's Arun Sood Highlights Citizen Grievances in Meeting With Administration

-Chandigarh 04 June 2025: The delegation that went to meet to resolve the problems of various employees under the banner of All Contractual Karamchari Sangh Union Bharat, UT Chandigarh, led by former BJP, Chandigarh State President and senior leader Arun Sood put forth their problems before the Chief Secretary of Chandigarh Administration, Rajiv Verma.

On this occasion, Arun Sood and the delegation discussed in detail with Chandigarh Chief Secretary Shri Rajiv Verma on issues such as job security of contract and outsourcing employees working in Chandigarh Administration and Municipal Corporation till retirement, restoration of jobs of sacked firemen and tubewell operators, restoration of nursing and lab staff sacked in ESIC Hospital, biometric attendance of sewerage employees at their place of work and providing jaggery, oil and soap to outsource sewerage employees etc.

Chandigarh Administration has recently sought information from various departments for rationalization of contract and outsourcing employees working on sanctioned posts in Administration and Municipal Corporation, due to which the jobs of various raw employees are in danger.

On the demand of All Contractual Karamchari Sangh Bharat, Arun Sood demanded job security of contract employees and outsourcing workers till retirement after proper rationalization from the Chief Secretary.

Chief Secretary Rajiv Verma assured quick action on the problems of the delegation.

Apart from the delegation that went to meet the Chandigarh Chief Secretary, other members also included Satish Kumar, Chander Jaiswal, Annu Kumar, Satbir Singh, Salinder Singh, Balak Ram, Ravinder Singh, Neelam etc.

Chairman of All Contractual Employees Union Bharat Regd, UT, Chandigarh Bipin Sher Singh and President Ashok Kumar thanked Chandigarh Chief Secretary Shri Rajiv Verma for the discussion held for the demand of job security till retirement of contract and outsourcing employees working in Chandigarh Administration and Municipal Corporation.

Various representatives who came under the banner of Contractual Union also thanked Arun Sood, who always strives to solve the problems of the public, Chandigarh Mayor and BJP Vice President for arranging a meeting with Chandigarh to resolve their respective problems.
