-Actress Anu Upadhayay, known for her roles in shows like Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! on &TV, Man Mein Hai Visshwas on Sony TV, Nimki Mukhiya on Star Bharat, Khidki on Sab TV, Hari Mirch Lal Mirch on Azad Channel, among several other Bhojpuri films, is now all set for her Bollywood debut. After gaining recognition in television and Bhojpuri films, Anu is beyond excited to land her first Bollywood film as the lead.
Talking about this big moment, Anu said, “I honestly can’t put into words how I’m feeling right now. It feels like all my hard work has finally paid off. I’ve got my first Bollywood film as the lead, and that too opposite a big star, someone who everyone loves. I can’t share too many details yet, but I’ll just say we’ve already shot a song, and the full shoot is about to begin in a few days, once everything falls into place. The film is expected to go on floors by the end of this year, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for more from God.”
Talking about the moment she got the call, she shared, “When I got that call, I was in shock. I couldn’t believe it. All the auditions, the rejections, the struggles led to this moment. I felt like everything was finally coming together. It was such a huge surprise and such a special feeling, something I will never forget.”
With her Bollywood debut on the horizon, Anu is excited to showcase her talent, and her fans are eagerly waiting to see her shine on the big screen. Anu was last seen playing the role of Minal, opposite Shubhangi Atre, Aasif Sheikh, Rohitashv Gour, and others.
