Chandigarh July 19, 2023: Under the banner of Magnificent Film Production House (MFP), Hindi short film Banglow Number 511 full of suspense, thriller and adventure will be released soon on OTT. In lead role will be famous astrologer Late P Khurrana’s disciple – Pollywood actress P. Shilpa Dhar and Talented actor Kanwalpreet Singh will also be part of the film. The film will be shot extensively in various locations of Punjab and Delhi. The poster of this film was unveiled here on Wednesday.
In a press conference held here, Kavita Saluja, producer of MFP and film Bangalow No. 511, and film producer Rohit Kumar, who is also the managing director of MFP, said that the film is a suspense thriller that will keep the audience hooked till the end. While the story of the film is written by Vijay Saudai, it is directed by MFP director Manjul Batra.
Batra said that after the film is made, the film will also be released in Punjabi language. The shooting of the film will start on 30th July and will end in about a week. Rohit Kumar said that MFP has so far shot profiles of more than 300 celebrities. He has to his credit more than 25 advertisements and 10 hit songs.
Manjul Batra, the director of the film Banglow No. 511, who has also been the director and actor of superhit and famous songs, The Wedding, Patiala Peg, said that he decided to direct the story when the writer of the film, Vijay Saudai narrated the story. He said that the story starts with finding the bridegroom for marriage, which later takes the form of suspense and thriller.
Renowned astrologer and Bollywood film actress and singer P. Shilpa Dhar said that she has worked as a singer and actress, model in Bollywood and Pollywood. She added that she has played a role on TV serials Hanuman, Rudra Ke Rakshak, and Oye Jassi. She has also acted in many films like Punjabi films Sirphire, Desi Romeo, comedian Kapil Sharma’s film Son of Manjeet Singh, famous singer Ninja and Amritman’s film Channa Mereya. She has also acted in Hindi film Downtown.
She has worked in the film ‘Lucky Di Unlucky Story’ opposite Bollywood Superstar Jackie Shroff. She said that she has also worked with the research team of the film ‘The Kashmir Files’. Not only this, she has also been a Kathak dancer and has given excellent performances of this art on various platforms.
