Surrey :The authors, who are both lawyers and educators, recently unveiled their book Twin Adventures at Surrey City Hall. It was inspired by the lack of South Asian characters in children’s books. Because of this, young, impressionable minds are affected. Canadian twins suffer an unexpected shock when Indian twins come to the country in this story. In the book, there is a clash of cultures in the classroom. The twins discover how important it is to be sympathetic and understanding, particularly when bridging the divide between cultures. The book is available in paperback or in electronic format (Kindle). It is also available at Amazon.com.
