Chandigarh, 26 August: Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences and Technology, Jaipur Hosted an outreach visit and Meet in Chandigarh on the 25th august 2026. The event brought together senior government officials, distinguished representatives, healthcare stakeholders, professionals and key members from Chandigarh, Punjab and Haryana whose presence reflected the growing recognition and potential of quality driven healthcare. The event was organised as part of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital’s continued endeavour to strengthen its outreach beyond Rajasthan and build meaningful healthcare partnerships with government institutions, stakeholders and communities across North India. The interaction provided an opportunity to present the hospital’s wide range of Organ Transplant facilities, super-specialty services, advanced medical facilities at extremely affordable rates at par with the government schemes.
During the programme, the hospital highlighted its expertise in critical areas including cancer prevention and treatment, communicable diseases, organ transplantation and other super-specialty healthcare services with state of the art technology. A significant part of the discussion led by Mr. Sukanta Kumar Das, Chief operating officer, MGUMST focused on the hospital’s growing presence among patients from Punjab and Chandigarh. Mr Das spoke extensively about the institution’s healthcare capabilities, affordable treatment facilities, outreach initiatives and its commitment to delivering high-quality treatment. He shared that the hospital has been receiving more than 100 patients every month from Punjab.
