-Chandigarh / Punjab, June 4, 2025— Underscoring its growing global influence and industrial leadership, Trident Group, one of India’s foremost global textile conglomerates, played host to a high-level diplomatic engagement as the Hon’ble President of Paraguay, Mr. Santiago Peña, met with Mr. Rajinder Gupta, Chairman Emeritus of the Trident Group, during his visit to Mumbai.

Paraguay also boasts one of the lowest energy tariffs in the world, thanks to its abundant hydroelectric power. In addition to these operational benefits, Paraguay offers strategic trade and market access due to its central location in South America—bordering major markets such as Brazil and Argentina. As a member of the Mercosur trade bloc, Paraguay provides duty-free access to regional markets and preferential trade terms with Europe, positioning it as a strategic gateway for global expansion.
