–Fatehgarh Sahib, Oct 22: Forest Hill World School has announced admissions for the 2027–28 academic session, marking a step towards providing modern, high-quality education to children in Fatehgarh Sahib(Jalvehra) and neighbouring areas. With an emphasis on academic excellence, experiential learning, Indian values and global perspectives, the school aims to create an environment where every child can discover their potential and grow with confidence.

Admissions will open for Pre-Nursery, Nursery, LKG and UKG, with classes commencing in April 2027. The school plans to expand admissions up to Grade 6 from April 2028, progressively broadening its academic offerings.

Speaking about the school’s vision, Mr. Devinder Sandhu, President, Forest Hill World School, highlighted its educational legacy and commitment to preparing students for an interconnected world.

“Forest Hill World School represents the next chapter in our longstanding commitment to quality education. Our experience with international educational programmes through CIIS (Continental Institute for International Studies) reinforced our belief that education must extend beyond textbooks and classrooms. We aspire to combine strong Indian values with international perspectives, progressive teaching practices and meaningful opportunities for global exposure. Our vision is to nurture confident, responsible and globally aware individuals who are prepared to succeed in a rapidly changing world,” he said.

Dr. Amrit Pal Aujla, Director, Forest Hill World School, emphasised the school’s vision of combining modern infrastructure, holistic development and innovative educational practices.

“Forest Hill World School is being developed with a clear and long-term vision: to provide children with an educational environment that balances academic rigour, character development and future-ready skills. We want to create opportunities for students to explore their interests, discover their strengths and develop the confidence to pursue their ambitions. As we build the institution, our focus will remain on quality, innovation, strong values and the overall development of every child,” she said.

Ms. Millie Bose, Principal, Forest Hill World School, outlined the school’s academic philosophy, centred on ‘Igniting Excellence’ through child-centred education and individual attention.

“At Forest Hill World School, we believe that every child is unique and deserves the opportunity to learn, explore and flourish. The early years are particularly important in developing curiosity, confidence, communication and a lifelong love for learning. Our teaching approach will emphasise activity-based and experiential learning through play, storytelling, music, movement, art, nature-based activities and hands-on experiences. As the school expands, we will progressively integrate STEM education, coding, robotics and Artificial Intelligence, while maintaining a strong foundation in core academic skills, creativity, sports, leadership and life skills,” she said.

The school aims to create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment where students feel valued and supported. Qualified educators, continuous professional development and contemporary teaching practices will be central to its academic approach.

Forest Hill World School will emphasise regular parent-teacher interactions, transparent progress assessments and consistent communication, ensuring parents remain active partners in each child’s educational journey.

Beyond classroom learning, the school intends to encourage sports, performing arts, leadership activities and technology-based learning, helping students develop critical thinking, communication, creativity, resilience and social responsibility.

With its commitment to educational excellence, strong values and a forward-looking academic philosophy, Forest Hill World School aspires to become a respected institution contributing to Punjab’s educational development.
