PNB 132nd Day: AIPNBOA Mohali Holds Blood Donation Camp

Mohali, 13 April 2026 : On the occasion of the 132nd Foundation Day of Punjab National Bank (PNB), the AIPNBOA Mohali Circle organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with Sohana Hospital, Mohali. A total of 52 units of blood were collected during the camp, which will help meet the needs of patients requiring urgent medical care. The camp was inaugurated by PNB Mohali Circle Head Biswojit Biswal, who also donated blood himself, motivating others to participate in this noble cause. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of donors, making the initiative a grand success. Through this effort, the bank conveyed a strong message of social responsibility and service to humanity.

  Several senior officials were present on the occasion, including Biswojit Biswal (PNB Circle Head, Mohali), Amandeep Singh (All India Organising Secretary), Sanjeev Deora (President, Mohali Unit), Som Shiv Gotra (Deputy Circle Head), M.K. Bhardwaj (LDM Mohali), and Gulshan Verma (Chief Manager, HRD). Other dignitaries such as Pawanjeet Gill (Executive President), Vinod Dehal (Joint Secretary), Sumitra Nagar(Special Advisor), and Surabhit (Executive Members) also attended the event. Bank employees and local residents participated actively. 

  Addressing the gathering, Biswojit Biswal said, “PNB’s 132nd Foundation Day is a matter of pride for us. By organizing this blood donation camp, we are fulfilling our responsibility towards society. Blood donation can help save lives.” Amandeep Singh added, “We appeal to everyone to donate blood regularly and become part of this noble initiative.”

  A team of doctors conducted all necessary health check-ups before collecting blood to ensure complete safety. Donors were also honored with certificates. The event reflects PNB’s continued commitment to social service and community welfare.
