Chandigarh: The second day of the 32nd National Men and Women Circle Kabaddi Championship, held from October 11 to 13 in Panjab University, Chandigarh, was inaugurated jointly by Davesh Moudgil, President of the Amateur Circle Kabaddi Federation of India and former Mayor, along with J. P. Sharma, General Secretary of the Federation. Punjab Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) I. P. S. Ajay Kumar Pandey attended the event as the distinguished guest.
During the ceremony, ADGP Ajay Kumar Pandey administered a collective oath against drug abuse to players, coaches and officials from 14 different states, emphasizing the importance of a drug-free life.

Addressing the gathering, former Mayor Davesh Moudgil stated that today’s youth are the future of the nation, but the menace of drugs is weakening their strength. He urged young people to avoid drugs and channelise their energy towards sports, education and positive thinking. He added that sports not only keep the body healthy but also develop discipline, confidence and a spirit of teamwork.
On this day, exciting matches were held between teams from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chandigarh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, and Delhi, making the second day of the championship a thrilling experience for players and spectators alike.
