CM Kejriwal who is known for experiments, innovations and new things has started 7 days Lockdown in Delhi starting today from 10 pm to 26 April morning to keep a check on the thumping increase of 25462 Covid19 cases recently. The increase in covid cases in Punjab , Maharashtra Delhi and certain areas has been appallingly shocking in recent weeks. Thereby prompting the agencies concerned to be vigilant towards the safety of the inhabitants. Kejriwal further asserted that shortage of medicines and hospital beds will be met at the earliest.
The CM appealed to the NCR Citizens to ensure their personals safety by wearing mask ,maintaining cleanliness at and around the place and keeping social distancing .People above 60 years are advised to remain at home.

The choice to enforce lockdown was taken throughout a conference participated in by CM Kejriwal, L-G Anil Baijal, Delhi Authorities Commissioner SN Srivastava, Delhi’s Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, Health Minister Satyendra Jain and also various other authorities.
